Hampshire to leave Wigan as Isa extends stay

Wigan Warriors forward Willie Isa has signed a one-year contract extension with the club while Ryan Hampshire will leave at the end of the season.
The new deal for 36-year-old second row Isa means he will have spent 10 seasons with the club by the time it expires.
He has made 209 appearances since joining Warriors ahead of the 2016 season, but has missed much of this term with an ankle injury.
Utility back Hampshire, 29, has played 12 times across the past two seasons since joining the club for a second spell at the start of 2023.
Hampshire also played in Super League for Leigh Centurions, Wakefield Trinity and Castleford Tigers.
"Ryan has made an important contribution to the team over the last two seasons both on the field in some important games, in practice and around the group on a daily basis," head coach Matt Peet told .
鈥淩etaining Willie for another season is a really important signing for the club. He has plenty left to give on the field, he is the ultimate competitor."
Wigan, who collected the League Leaders' Shield for finishing top in the regular season, host Leigh Leopards in their play-off semi-final on Saturday (17:30 BST).
