Leigh Leopards full-back Matt Moylan has retired from professional rugby league, the Super League club has said.
The 33-year-old had joined the Leopards ahead of the 2024 season from NRL side Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks.
Moylan, who made 189 appearances in the NRL with Penrith Panthers and Cronulla, initially joined as a half-back before moving to full-back for the majority of his 26 appearances with the club.
"It's been a really difficult decision to call time on my career, but I've got to listen to my body and say enough is enough," he said.
"I've had a great year at Leigh. I'm extremely grateful to the fans for the song they have sung me this year, their support has been fantastic.
"It has been an honour to be part of a team that has reached the highest position in Super League that this club has been.
"The team is in a great place and I will enjoy watching them in my retirement."
Moylan previously played for Australia, and for New South Wales in the State of Origin series, during the 2016 season.
He leaves having helped his side to a fifth-place finish in Super League and a play-off semi-final against eventual champions Wigan Warriors.
