Hull KR have signed Canberra Raiders prop Dane Tilse on a two-and-a-half-year deal.

The 30-year-old will join up with the Robins in two weeks time after making his 200th appearance for the Raiders.

The Craven Park side were looking for a replacement for Mick Weyman, who retired last month with a knee injury.

"It's going to be a bit of a whirlwind but I've heard good things about the club and it's exciting," he told 91Èȱ¬ Radio Humberside.

"I was looking to come to the U.K and Terry Campese told me the fans are fanatic here. I've only heard positive things.

"Canberra have been great and I have to thank them for supporting me off the field."
