Bradford Bulls have signed Australian centre Keith Lulia on a two-year deal from Newcastle Knights.

The 24-year-old, who will join the club in time for the 2012 season, has represented the Cook Islands and also played for St George Illawarra Dragons.

Bulls coach Mick Potter, who worked with Lulia when he was a youngster with the Dragons, said: "Keith is a fantastic acquisition for the club.

"He is a dynamic outside back that can beat people and he's a solid defender."

Potter added: "I have monitored his progress since he was a junior in Wollongong playing with Port Kembla.

"I think he will really make a mark in Super League in the future and I am delighted to have captured him at such a young age."

Lulia, who can also play on the wing, said: "I'm really looking forward to getting there for the 2012 season and I'm super keen to prove myself in the English Super League.

"I know my decision will prove to be a winner for both parties. I did plenty of my own research into Bradford's history and have monitored their efforts this season.

"They are a club with a proud tradition and are on the rise. I'm excited to be part of their future."
