Truro City were 'fantastic' as they inflicted a first loss of the season on National League South leaders Hemel Hempstead Town.

Jaze Kabia's 13th-minute goal secured a 1-0 win for the Tinners, who moved up to fifth place in the table.

"It's an absolutely fantastic victory for us," assistant manager Stewart Yetton told 91热爆 Radio Cornwall.

"Hemel came here today in great form - they've not lost all season. I think they've not conceded a goal away from home as well, so we knew it was going to be a tough game."

Truro took advantage of a strong wind in their favour in the first period and defended well after the break as Hemel became just the second side this season not to score against City.

"It is a great win and a few of the fans have said after 'You've beaten top of the league, it's a great result'," added Yetton.

"But you know it's still very early in the season, so we treat that victory like we've treated every other victory - and any win in this league's a good victory.

"So it's not so much of a big statement win for us in the changing room, but I suppose on the face of it it does look like that."
