Burton Albion have taken their total of summer additions to 14 after signing former Oxford United forward Billy Bodin and defender Jack Armer from Carlisle United.
Once-capped Wales international Bodin, 32, and 23-year-old Armer have both signed two-year deals with the rebuilding Brewers.
Armer, who came through Preston North End's youth ranks, moves to the Pirelli Stadium for an undisclosed fee and has a further 12-month option on his contract.
Bodin also counts Preston among his former clubs - a list that includes Swindon Town, Torquay United, Crewe Alexandra, Northampton Town and Bristol Rovers - and has scored 80 career goals.

Burton's sporting director Bendik Hareide, who took up his post with the east Staffordshire side when the club was taken over by Sweden-based Nordic Football Group in June, says the "wealth of experience" Bodin brings to the Brewers "will be a great asset".
Bodin scored nine goals in all competitions last season as Oxford earned promotion to the Championship, but announced his departure just days after their play-off final win against Bolton at Wembley.
"I still feel that I've got plenty to offer at League One level," said Bodin. "And I hope that I can also add some experience to the squad to help benefit the younger players."
