Marseille have made a 拢13.6m loan with an obligation to buy offer for Norwich winger Jonathan Rowe.

It is believed to be close to the Championship club鈥檚 asking price but Marseille will need to convince Norwich about the payment terms as they look to spread the cost of the transfer over two seasons.

The 21-year-old is keen to move to Marseille to work with former Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi and step up to one of the top five European leagues in France鈥檚 Ligue 1.

Fellow forward Abu Kamara has added to the headache for sporting director Ben Knapper and head coach Johannes Hoff Thorup, by handing in a transfer request.

Rowe burst on to the scene last season by scoring in Norwich's opening five games and managed 13 in 38 appearances in total despite an injury that kept him out of the side for two months.

But he declined to play for the Canaries in their opening day 2-0 Championship defeat at Oxford United amid bids from Marseille.

Leeds United - who beat Norwich in last season's play-offs - have also expressed an interest in Rowe but are not expected to submit a rival offer as Rowe is keen on a move to Marseille.

Kamara, meanwhile, is eager to leave Carrow Road before the transfer window shuts next week, with Hull City and Portsmouth reportedly interested.

He spent last season on loan at Pompey, helping them win the League One title, and scored 10 goals in 52 appearances for John Mousinho's side.

Kamara was sent on as a substitute in their first two Championship games of the season and scored in their 4-3 Carabao Cup win over Stevenage. He has a year left on his contract with the option to extend for a further 12 months.

Norwich sold Adam Idah to Celtic for 拢9.5m this month but not before having to discipline the striker for joining the squad late after he missed the team flight for a pre-season training week in Austria.

The Canaries are hopeful of signing Ante Crnac from Polish side Rakow Cz臋stochowa.

The 20-year-old Croatian striker, who scored eight goals in 26 matches for the Ekstraklasa side last season, is seen as a direct replacement for Idah.
