Stevenage's Reid to miss start of new season

Stevenage striker Jamie Reid will miss at least the first four weeks of the new season because of an unspecified medical condition.
A club statement said the condition was discovered following his return to the Lamex Stadium from international duty with Northern Ireland.
The 30-year-old striker, who scored 22 goals last season will "miss the opening month of the season,"
Stevenage, who finished ninth in League One in 2023-24, just five points outside the play-off places, will be at home to Shrewsbury Town in their opening fixture of the new campaign on 10 August.
Reid joined Boro from Mansfield Town in 2021 and last summer signed an "improved and extended contract".
He made his international debut in March and scored in a 1-1 draw with Romania in Bucharest and won his fourth cap in last month's 2-0 win over Andorra.
