Truro City striker Tyler Harvey has signed a new "multi-year" deal with the National League South club.

It is the 29-year-old's second new deal in just over eight months after signing an improved contract shortly after new Canadian owners took over at Truro.

91热爆 Sport understands Harvey had been the subject of transfer interest from other clubs in the National League.

He has been City's top scorer for the past six seasons since re-joining the club from Bath City in 2019.

"This has been my club and my home for a long time now," Harvey told the club website.

"I have a great relationship with the fans and over the last few years, because we weren't playing in Truro, that seemed like it had been lost and it has been tough.

"But now we are back in Truro, I can give back something to the fans and that was one of the major reasons for me signing this new contract."

Having come up through Plymouth Argyle's ranks, Harvey played 60 times in all competitions for the Pilgrims before a season-long spell at Wrexham in 2016.

He first moved to Truro in 2017 before a brief spell at Bath.

Manager John Askey added: "Since I've come in, Tyler has done well, just like he has for many years at the football club.

"Signing a new deal is reward for all of Tyler's efforts and it is also reward for the football club that he stays.

"He is an integral part of the team and has done really well in games so far this season.

"Tyler has had success at Truro and with the whole club moving forward, his commitment long-term will really help us push on."
