Truro City manager John Askey says Tyler Harvey is "as good as any striker in the league", after his side came from behind to beat Chelsmford City 2-1 in the National League South.

Ipswich Town loanee Osman Foyo gave the visitors the lead after 33 minutes, firing past Tinners keeper Dan Lavercombe.

Harvey was brought on with half an hour to go, equalising with an 85th-minute free-kick, and slotting home the winner deep into stoppage time.

Askey told 91Èȱ¬ Radio Cornwall: "My players showed great resolve to come away with a win, it's fantastic."

The late double took Harvey's goal tally to five for the season.

Askey said the club were "fortunate" to have him.

He added: "When you've got someone like [Tyler] who can come on, and again he's made a huge difference, he's as good as any striker in the league.

"We're fortunate to have him and that's just what he does."

Truro sit third in National League South and remain unbeaten since the opening day of the season.

"It's important we win [at home] and make it a really hard place for teams to come," Askey said.

"It's big advantage for Truro to be playing at [the Sports Hub], and it's what we've missed for several years.

"You can feel the crowd really getting behind us and getting more and more vocal.

"If we can win our homes games and nick points from away games it'll put us in a really good position."
