Billy Waters: Wrexham forward joins Doncaster Rovers on loan
- Published
Doncaster Rovers have signed Wrexham striker Billy Waters on loan.
The 29-year-old will spend the rest of the season with Wrexham's League Two rivals, having not featured for the Welsh side in the league since August.
He has played more than 300 games for nine clubs, either on loan or permanently, across League One and Two, as well as the National League.
"Billy is a goalscorer and he has been over the years at different clubs," Rovers boss Grant McCann said.
"We feel it's a great signing for us. He's really hungry to come in, play games and score goals. He's sharp in his movements, wants to get in behind and between the posts," McCann added to the club website.
"He's had experience of the level and scored goals at the level. It's a good signing for us."
