St Johnstone manager Tommy Wright targets new striker

St Johnstone manager Tommy Wright hopes to sign a new striker before the transfer window closes next week.
However, Wright indicated a return to Perth for Stevie May was unlikely. Preston's May, 23, is recovering from a knee injury sustained in November.
"I would like one in," Wright told 91热爆 Radio Scotland's Sportsound.
"We're working on a couple of things and until it's over the line, nothing can be guaranteed. I'm not bothered if it's permanent or loan."
May joined Sheffield Wednesday from St Johnstone in 2014, months after helping the McDiarmid Park club win the Scottish Cup for the first time.
A move to Preston followed last year but his injury restricted him to only eight appearances for the Championship club.
"I think Stevie, once he's fit, will want to have a right go at England before he decides he wants to come back to Scotland," Wright added.
