Aidy White: Barnsley left-back signs contract extension

Left-back Aidy White has signed a new contract with Barnsley to keep him at the Championship club until June 2017.
The former Republic of Ireland Under-21 player made 19 appearances for the Tykes last term as they won promotion through the League One play-offs.
The 24-year-old joined the club on loan from Rotherham in November, before signing a permanent deal in January.
"We've achieved so much and it was definitely my first option to stay here," he told the club website.
"The fans have been amazing with me and the team. They've shown what we can do when they get behind the team and we've had a fantastic season, going to Wembley twice."
Meanwhile, Tykes chief executive Ben Mansford has left the club to take up a similar post with Championship rivals Leeds United.
Linton Brown has been appointed acting CEO by the Oakwell club and joins the board with immediate effect.
