Wes Hoolahan, Alex Tettey and Michael Turner will stay at Norwich until 2017 after one-year options were triggered by Premier League promotion in 2015.
Hoolahan, 34, is currently at Euro 2016 with the Republic of Ireland, while fellow midfielder Tettey, 30, made 23 appearances for the Canaries last term.
Defender Turner, 32, spent last season on loan at Sheffield Wednesday.
Youngsters Ben Killip and Jamie Eaton-Collins will stay for a further year, while eight players have been released.
Among them is Jamaica forward Jamar Loza, who scored once in six matches for the Canaries and had six loan moves away from Carrow Road.
The others to depart are Reiss Awuah, Afolabi Coker, Adel Gafaiti, Reece Hall-Johnson, Cameron King, Cameron Norman and Arinse Uade.
The club announced full-back Steven Whittaker, 31, signed a new one-year deal, with an option for a further 12 months, in May.
