Defender Luke Waterfall scored twice as Lincoln beat National League strugglers Torquay.

Waterfall opened the scoring with a header from a corner after 16 minutes, while Liam Hearn doubled the lead shortly afterwards.

Lincoln went close again when Waterfall hit the bar before the break, and he added his second on 74 minutes.

Dan Butler pulled one back quickly, but the defeat extends Torquay's winless run to six games.
