Joe Mason: Cardiff determined to keep striker amid Wolves interest
- Published
Cardiff City have stressed they will not sell forward Joe Mason on transfer deadline day despite renewed interest from Championship rivals Wolves.
The 24-year-old, who has scored two goals this season and started in every league game, has been the subject of failed bids from Wolves this summer.
Cardiff's resolve has been tested again but the Bluebirds insist they are determined to keep their best players.
They have already rejected offers from keeper David Marshall from West Brom.
And contract talks have been opened with striker Kenwyne Jones after he was targeted by Sheffield Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Cardiff have played down reports linking them with a loan move for Crystal Palace's out-of-favour midfielder Joe Ledley.
Bluebirds striker Rhys Healey, 20, has joined Scottish Premiership side Dundee on loan until 3 January, 2016.
