Alex Neil: Norwich City manager signs new 'longer-term' deal

Norwich City manager Alex Neil has signed a "new and improved longer-term" contract following the club's promotion to the Premier League.
The 34-year-old replaced Neil Adams at Carrow Road in January and has won 17 of his 25 matches in charge.
That culminated in May's Championship play-off final win over Middlesbrough at Wembley to ensure an instant top-flight return for the Canaries.
The length of the former Hamilton boss's new deal has not been disclosed.
Neil, who guided the Accies to promotion in 2014, "Both parties were taking a chance when I was appointed but it's worked out very well for all involved, and I'm happy this has been sorted before the season gets underway.
"I've really enjoyed my five months at the club, hopefully it is just the beginning as we now look forward to playing in the Premier League."
Victory over Boro in the play-off final meant Neil will be the youngest manager in England's top division next season, as well as being the only Scot.
City chief executive David McNally added: "For us this summer it was the most important piece of business to ensure Alex had a much-deserved new contract.
"He galvanised the football club after arriving in January, and we're certain that Norwich City will continue to progress under his management."
Meanwhile, former Norwich striker Luciano Becchio has joined Argentine side Club Atletico Belgrano following his release by the Canaries this summer.
