Out of contract full-back Neil Ashton has revealed he has not been offered a new deal by Wrexham.
Ashton, 30, joined Wrexham from Chester City in 2010 and made over 200 appearances for the Dragons.
"Thanks to all the fans, players & staff for their support over the past five years,"
"We've had some great times together but unfortunately my contract won't be renewed."
Ashton is the second high profile player to be released by new manager Gary Mills following the departure of captain Dean Keates.
Both were members of the team which lost to Newport County in the Conference play-off final in 2013.
"I'm gutted we never achieved the ultimate goal of promotion but we had a good go," Ashton added.
"I'm so proud to have played for Wrexham and would like to wish them good luck for the future."
