Burnley striker Danny Ings says he does not want to join a club where he will not play regularly as speculation continues over his future.

The 23-year-old, who has scored nine goals this season, has been linked with moves to Liverpool, Manchester United and Spanish side Real Sociedad in the summer, when his contract expires.

"One thing I don't want to do is go somewhere and all of a sudden disappear for a while," he

"Somewhere you don't get a look-in."

The England Under-21 international added he wants to work with a manager "who is going to coach me and really develop me as a player".

The Clarets, who play Everton on Saturday (15:00 BST) are 19th in the Premier League, two points shy of safety.

Ings suggested he would want to continue playing in the top flight.

"You don't want to have a good couple of years, come through the Championship, have a good first year in the Premier League and then not play in the Premier League for another year or so because that is a backward step," he said.

"No matter what contract anyone is on, it is important that you are playing football."
