Swansea left-back Neil Taylor says his side's lack of resourcefulness in front of goal is a real worry after their 2-0 loss at West Bromwich Albion.

City failed to find a response to Brown Ideye and Saido Berahino's second-half goals for Tony Pulis's side.

Garry Monk said his team lacked intensity and Wales defender Taylor shared the Swansea manager's concerns.

"We could still be playing now and we wouldn't score, which is not good," he said. "We have to re-evaluate."

He added that Swansea needed to "go again and not let one game really put us down.

"But this calendar year, we haven't really got going yet and we need to.

"We're still ninth in the Premier League table, still in a healthy position. But hopefully we can turn it around, go again and put a smile on faces."

Swansea have won only once in six league games in 2015 but despite this they are 12 points clear of the relegation zone.

Monk's side do not play this weekend and are next in action at home to third-placed Manchester United on 21 February.

Taylor believes Swansea can get a result against Louis van Gaal's side, but must improve on their performance in the defeat at West Brom.

"At home, the Swansea I've known down the years, we can beat anybody on their day if we play well," Taylor added.

"It's another thing to talk about next week, but at the moment we need to sort of worry about this game and see where it went wrong and go again.

"We should be bang up for it anyway.

"In the easy bread and butter games we've got to go and get results. Man Utd [coming] to Swansea is still a bonus game, how we see it.

"From the first year we came up if we can get results against those teams, it's a bonus."
