Serie A's top scorer Carlos Tevez netted his 14th league goal of the season as Juventus beat battling AC Milan to move 10 points clear of Roma.
Tevez, 31, was adjudged to be onside as he raced clear to clinically fire in the home side's opener.
Milan equalised when defender Luca Antonelli headed in from a corner, but Leonardo Bonucci poked in to restore Juve's lead almost instantly.
Spain striker Alvaro Morata converted a rebound off the post to seal victory.
Juventus are bidding for a fourth straight Serie A title and, despite showing plenty of endeavour, Milan never looked like denting their challenge once Italy defender Bonucci put the home side back ahead.
Seven-time European champions Milan drop to 10th after Torino earned a 3-1 win at Verona earlier on Saturday.
Second-placed Roma can narrow the gap on Juventus to seven points when they travel to fourth-bottom Cagliari on Sunday.
