Midfielder Stephen Pearson has returned to Motherwell, 11 years after leaving Fir Park.
The 32-year-old has agreed a deal until the end of the season after a spell with Kerala Blasters in India.
"I am delighted to be back, I've got great memories of this place from the past," he told the
"I am thrilled to rejoin and hopefully help the club push up the table. I've been playing regularly for the last few months and feel fit."
Pearson, capped 10 times for Scotland, joined Celtic in 2004 and played for Derby County, Stoke and Bristol City.
He goes straight into the squad for Wednesday night's game at Celtic Park, subject to international clearance.
"It's a coup for us," manager Ian Baraclough told 91热爆 Scotland. "He's still got good legs and he will give us energy."
Motherwell are three points above the relegation play-off spot and Baraclough hopes Pearson will be joined by other new recruits.
"I'd like to bring in a couple of fresh faces," he said. "I think the squad is crying out for it.
"We've got eight or nine injuries at the moment, with one or two coming back in the next couple of weeks.
"We've got five or six of the younger lads on the bench, so to be offloading players at the moment is difficult for me and not one I'm looking at but something may happen in the next 10 days, you never know."
