Wolverhampton Wanderers chairman Steve Morgan has been fined 拢2,500 and warned about his future conduct by the Football Association.

He confronted referee Mike Jones on the touchline at the end of a 2-1 defeat by Bournemouth on 6 December.

The official had sent off Wolves players Rajiv van La Parra and Matt Doherty during the game.

Two days later, Morgan apologised to Jones in a statement, but said he was still angry at many of his decisions.

Bournemouth chairman Jeff Mostyn, meanwhile, said he had feared for his safety at the match because of what he described as a "very intimidating" atmosphere.

The fine was imposed after Morgan admitted an FA charge relating to improper conduct.

Wolves appealed against both red card decisions and van La Parra's was rescinded, but Doherty's was upheld, resulting in a three-match ban.
