Dundee have completed the signing of former Motherwell and Scotland striker David Clarkson.
The 28-year-old had been training with the Scottish Premiership side and did enough to win a deal.
"He hasn't really played as a main striker for a few years but we see him as a centre forward," Dundee manager Paul Hartley said.
"David will give us good competition and we are delighted to get him signed up."
Clarkson has two Scotland caps to his name and scored on his international debut in a friendly against Czech Republic in 2008.
He started his career with Motherwell and broke into their first team at the age of 17, spending six years at Fir Park before switching to Bristol City for a reported 拢800,000.
After two years with the English side, during which time he played alongside Hartley, he went on loan to Brentford before moving across the city to join Bristol Rovers in 2012.
