York City forward Michael Coulson has signed a new two-year deal.

The 26-year-old has scored 11 goals in two seasons for the Minstermen after joining from Grimsby in June 2012.

Coulson helped the side to a seventh-placed finish in League Two this season but they were knocked out in the play-offs by Fleetwood.

"I think my hard work over the season has paid off, and all I wanted to do is stay at York."
