Bradford City 2-3 Stevenage

  • Published

A stunning brace from Luke Freeman gave relegation-threatened Stevenage a vital win at Bradford.

Bradford started well when Adam Reach volleyed in from 15 yards, but Francois Zoko levelled from inside the box with his 17th goal of the season.

The Bantams regained the lead when Hanson fired into the top corner, but Freeman struck from 25 yards to level.

Freeman then made it 3-2 after Jimmy Smith tapped a free-kick to him on the edge of the box.

Stevenage manager Graham Westley told 91热爆 Three Counties Radio:

Post-match: Stevenage boss Westley

"It was certainly a big performance in the second half. We knew that we probably hadn't got what we deserved out of the first half.

"We really did make our mind up that we were going to be the side that came away with the points today.

On Luke Freeman: "The football club's going to be delighted because I think he's put about 拢5 million on his transfer fee hasn't he?

"I'm not really worried about the table. I'm worried about winning games."
