Oldham have offered centre-back James Tarkowski a contract extension to run until the end of the 2016-17 season.

The 21-year-old has impressed since making his in March 2011 and has gone on to make 87 appearances.

Tarkowski's current contract, which he only signed last June, is due to expire in June 2015.

Oldham say no deadline has been set for Tarkowski to agree the new deal, but hope he will sign as soon as possible.
