York City have signed Cheltenham defender Keith Lowe for an undisclosed fee on a two-and-a-half-year deal.

The 28-year-old joined the Minstermen on loan in November and has made nine appearances for Nigel Worthington's side, who sit 17th in League Two.

"He's a player that I've admired for a long time and have monitored.

"It's another good addition to the group that we've got."
