Alfreton Town have signed midfielder Godfrey Poku on loan from League Two strugglers Mansfield Town.

The 23-year-old spent last season on a season-long loan at Southport and made 32 appearances.

Poku began his career with Luton and then had his first loan spell with Southport in August 2011, before a move to Mansfield in the summer of 2012.

He has played five times this season, with his last appearance coming in a in November.

Alfreton, who are currently third in the Conference Premier ahead of Saturday's trip to Barnet, have also extended the loan of Luton defender Lathaniel Rowe-Turner until 30 January.
