Bournemouth's FA Cup third-round home clash with League Two side Burton Albion has been postponed because of a waterlogged pitch.

Heavy rain fell at the stadium overnight, prompting the referee to inspect the surface from 12:00 GMT.

But following a further inspection with both managers at 13:30 GMT the pitch was deemed to be unplayable and the game was called off.

The rearranged fixture will be played on Tuesday 14 January at 19:45 GMT.
