Manager Michael Laudrup says he is not concerned by Swansea's form at home in the Premier League this season.

Swansea have only won once at home in the Premier League, beating Sunderland 4-0 in October.

The Dane admits he is bemused rather than worried by his side's form as they host Newcastle United at the Liberty Stadium on Wednesday.

"We don't look at whether we win at home or away, but it's true and a little strange," said Laudrup.

"A team like us should get the majority of our points at home, but we have won more games away than at home. Points are points."

While Swansea may have struggled to get the wins they would have wanted at home, they have managed three wins on the road against West Brom, Crystal Palace and Fulham.

Laudrup hopes Swansea's next two games - Newcastle and Hull on Monday - will see his side emulate their form on the road.

"Now we have two home games and we really hope we can get points here," said Laudrup.

"The last time we had two consecutive home games, playing Sunderland and West Ham, we got four [points].

"It would be nice to get at least get four from these two games, from 15 to 19 [points]."

Laudrup's side went down 3-0 at Manchester City as they kicked off December on a losing note at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday.

But after the home double-header against Newcastle and Hull, Swansea begin a hectic fixture list before and during the festive period.

Laudrup's Swansea face the prospect of playing six games in 20 days, which starts with a trip to Swiss side St Gallen in the Europa League.
