Oldham Athletic: Danny Philliskirk signs two-year contract
Forward Danny Philliskirk has signed a two-year contract at Oldham Athletic after initially joining the League One club on non-contract terms.
after being released by Coventry at the end of last season.
Philliskirk, whose father Tony is Oldham's academy manager, was a trainee at Chelsea and spent time with Sheffield United.
Oldham have the option to extend his contract by a further year.
"Danny has done really well since he arrived," manager Lee Johnson told the "He is technically very good and an excellent finisher.
"He needs to become a man in his personality on the pitch and, if we can get that into his game, he can become a top player and back to where he was as a youngster."
