Oldham 3-1 Port Vale

Adam Rooney's double fired Oldham to a convincing win over Port Vale.
Rooney scored his first goal for the club with a fine glancing header before Jennison Myrie-Williams equalised for Vale with a delightful curled shot.
Vale's Lee Hughes then had a penalty saved by Mark Oxley after the striker was fouled by Jonathan Grounds.
Rooney tapped in as Oldham regained the lead after Jonson Clarke-Harris's shot was blocked and James Dayton sealed the win with a strike into the far corner.
