Hartlepool United have signed Middlesbrough midfielder Matthew Dolan on a month-long loan deal.

Dolan, 20, becomes the second Boro player to move to Victoria Park after defender Christian Burgess and links up with former coach Colin Cooper.

Last season the Hartlepool-born player made 10 appearances for Yeovil, helping the club win promotion to Championship.

He is likely to go into the Pools squad for Saturday's visit of Fleetwood Town in League Two.
