Jacob Blyth: Northampton sign Leicester striker on loan

Northampton have signed Jacob Blyth on a one-month loan deal from Leicester.
The striker, 20, spent time on loan at Burton and Notts County last season but failed to score in six appearances.
Cobblers boss Aidy Boothroyd told 91热爆 Radio Northampton: "He's got a terrific record in non-league for scoring goals. He's a big, strong and mobile guy.
"Whether Clive Platt is struggling [with injury] or not, if Jacob does as well as I expect him to, I'll be pushing to keep him."
After scoring 17 times for Leamington in the Southern Premier League, Blyth joined Leicester last May and hit six goals in 11 games for their under-21s.
He had been playing part-time football until his late teens.
"I had Ben Foster [at Watford] who hadn't been a goalkeeper until he was 15," said Boothroyd.
"Sometimes, either they haven't played or get picked up late."
Blyth is available to make his Northampton debut at home to Newport County on Saturday.
