Cody McDonald: Gillingham sign striker after Coventry exit
Gillingham have completed the signing of Cody McDonald after the striker's contract at Coventry City was terminated by mutual consent.
The 27-year-old, who scored eight goals in 47 appearances during two years with the Sky Blues, has agreed a two-year deal with the Gills.
McDonald had a two-month loan spell at Priestfield last season, scoring four goals in seven appearances.
He also on loan from Norwich.
Gillingham manager Martin Allen told "Cody is a match-winner, he scores goals and on and off the field he conducts himself in the right way.
"He works hard and Mr Scally [Gillingham chairman Paul Scally] has worked for the last couple of months to get this deal done."
