Cliff Crown has been named as the new chairman of Brentford.
He replaces Greg Dyke, who had to stand down from the position at the end of last season after he became chairman-elect of the Football Association.
Crown was appointed to the League One club's board of directors last September.
He acts as chief financial officer and business adviser to a number of companies in which Bees owner Matthew Benham has a financial interest.
Crown told "I am honoured to have been appointed chairman of Brentford.
"I look forward to working with the board and the management team to build on the progress made over the last two years and to deliver a successful future.
"I hope to continue the great work of Greg Dyke, who played such an important role in getting the Club to where it is now."
Meanwhile, the Bees have also appointed two new vice-chairmen in Donald Kerr and Eddie Rogers.
