Partick Thistle: Kris Doolan & Ross Forbes sign new deals

Partick Thistle have announced new contracts for Kris Doolan and Ross Forbes and an extended deal for James Craigen.
The trio helped Thistle win the First Division and promotion to the Scottish Premier League.
Striker Doolan has signed a two-year contract while the deal for midfielder Forbes is for one year.
Forward Craigen is now under contract with the Firhill outfit until the summer of 2015.
Speaking to Thistle's website, manager Alan Archibald said of Doolan and Forbes: "The two were outstanding performers last season and we are delighted they have signed.
"We offered Kris a deal a while ago but I think he wanted to keep his options open. I know there was interest in him elsewhere so we are delighted to get him tied up.
"I think Dools has got better every season that he has been with us and hopefully he takes the next step with us in the SPL next season and proves how good he is.
"Ross Forbes showed a real hunger and desire to play here last season. I think everyone knows that he came and played for appearance money only to start with.
"He was one of our best players with a number of goals and assists. I think the penny has dropped with Ross now and he knows how hard it is to be out of work and be without a club.
"I think he has that hunger and desire to prove how good he is."
Doolan added: "It's taken me a few years to get to the SPL and it has been a roundabout way to get there. It's important, though, not to get derailed from your dream.
"I just took a different route but I still got there in the end.
"I think that we proved last season that if you start the season well then anything can happen. We beat Falkirk right at the start of the season and we were able to kick on from that.
"If we can do the same next season that should stand us in good stead for the rest of the season."
