Aldershot Town manager Andy Scott says his plans are on hold until the club's future is resolved.

The Shots entered administration last Thursday and have debts of 拢1m.

He told 91热爆 Surrey: "There is a lot of work to be done. It is a case for the administrators to work out what the best deal is for the football club.

"I am unable to make decisions on bringing in players and it is making it difficult as no player wants to come to a club in administration."

He added: "Ultimately everyone wants the club to survive and flourish in the future.

"I am hopeful that once everything is sorted out we can move forward with speaking to players we want to speak to."

Scott, who took charge at the EBB Stadium in February but could not help them avoid relegation from League Two, says his own future has not been discussed.

"Until something is decided as to who is going to be running the club, my position remains the same as it has been," Scott said.

"As soon as a decision is made we can know how we move forward next year, what the budget is and whether people want me in charge or not."

Players and staff at the Hampshire club were not paid their wages for April and Scott is hopeful that will be rectified.

"It is very early days and the PFA have spoken to the administrators about agreeing a payment plan for the players to be paid," Scott said.

"That is one problem less for me to worry about.

"The administrators have been very open and honest that there are people interested in purchasing or investing in the club.

"They are taking their time to look at the finances of the club.

"There is some sort of timescale as it needs to be done by the Conference AGM on the 8th of June as we don't want to start next season with a 10-point deduction.

"We are hoping something can be completed before then so we can move forward. The sooner we get it done, the better."
