Edgar Davids: Barnet head coach set to discuss future

Barnet head coach Edgar Davids says he will discuss his future with chairman Tony Kleanthous following the club's relegation from the Football League.
The Dutch legend, who joined the Bees in October, was unable to keep them up.
And Davids, 40, told 91热爆 Late Kick Off London and the South East: "I will have to evaluate things with the chairman in the coming weeks.
"I definitely want to be at Barnet. It is sad because League Two was a fun league to play in."
He added: "I had a great time and it is sad it had to end this way."
After initially joining as joint-head coach, Davids took sole charge of Barnet at the end of December.
Despite guiding them to eight wins in 22 games, their eight-year stay in the Football League came to an end when they were beaten 2-0 at Northampton.
As a result Davids, who won the Champions League and Uefa Cup with Ajax and three Serie A titles with Juventus, could find himself in the Conference next season.
Asked whether playing in non-League would be a comedown for a man capped 76 times by the Netherlands he replied: "What do you mean comedown?
"I am not one who polishes his medals. It is what it is and you are where you are.
"If you have to go to the Conference, you go to the Conference."
Barnet had moved clear of the relegation zone but three defeats in their last four games, coupled with AFC Wimbledon's last-day win over Fleetwood, meant the north London club slipped into the bottom two.
"It [the Northampton game] was an opportunity for us to stay in the League and we didn't take it," Davids added.
"We put in a lot of effort. We had to win but we let it come up to the last game.
"We could have been safe a couple of games ago.
"Myself, I feel gutted, because at the end of the day I have obeyed the objectives set for me by the chairman; to get players through from the academy playing better, attractive football and get 51 points.
"We are relegated with 51 points and that is a sad and bitter pill to swallow."
