Harry Redknapp insists "the dream is still alive" as Queens Park Rangers prepare to continue their relegation fight against Stoke on Saturday.

QPR are 10 points adrift of safety with five matches left and have not won since beating Sunderland on 9 March.

But manager Redknapp said: "We need four wins and a draw from the final five games to have a chance. It's a tall order but we will keep going.

"We're still not down. There's no way we're giving up on this season yet."

The Hoops will be relegated on Monday night if they lose to Stoke at Loftus Road and Sunderland beat visitors Everton, Newcastle avoid defeat at West Brom and Aston Villa win at Manchester United.

91热爆 games against Arsenal and Newcastle lie ahead for QPR on their run-in, with trips to Reading and Liverpool.

Redknapp is refusing to give up, adding: "We'll keep trying and keep believing."

When he was appointed manager, QPR had won four points from their opening 12 games and have added 20 to that tally in their subsequent 21 matches.

And even if Rangers are relegated, Redknapp believes the club can have a bright future.

He added: "The people that own QPR are good people. They're looking to see the job through over the coming years

"They are getting everything in place to push the club on."

Stoke travel south just three points above the safety line, but Redknapp insists a run of just two wins in 18 Premier League games has been a "blip" for Tony Pulis's men.

He said: "Tony has done a good job there. They've had a bad little run, but he's done a terrific job.

"It will be a hard game for us, we know that."
