Manager Neil Lennon was highly satisfied with an improved Celtic performance and the promise of another championship victory.

The 3-0 victory against Hibernian all but secured a second straight Scottish Premier League for Lennon's side.

"It doesn't matter when we win it, as long as we win it," Lennon told 91热爆 Radio Scotland.

"We know we only need a point now to wrap up the title and that's a great position to be in."

Kris Commons scored twice and Mikael Lustig added a third as Celtic comfortably disposed of Hibs.

"It's what I wanted, an excellent performance from start to finish," said Lennon.

"We looked far more like ourselves so I'm delighted with that.

"We could've won the game by a lot more goals. Off the back of few stodgy performances, that was far more like it.

"There was a real dominances about us and a professionalism as well. I'm pretty pleased with that."

The post-split Scottish Premier League fixtures will be announced on Monday and Celtic will take on Dundee United in the Scottish Cup semi-finals before the league campaign resumes.

"We've got a big week ahead of us with the semi-final looming so it's an exciting couple of weeks for us now," added Lennon.

"We want to get over the line and get to a cup final for a start but that's not going to be easy. Dundee United have had a good day today [clinching a top-six place] so they're going to be buoyant.

"I don't know what the fixtures will bring but we'll enjoy it when it comes and look forward to a final if we can get there.

"The players have covered themselves in a lot of glory this season and they've still got a bit more to come."
