Bournemouth defender Stephane Zubar will be out for up to nine months with anterior cruciate knee injury.

Zubar, 26, had been on loan at Bury, joining in January and making six appearances before playing his final game at Notts County on 22 February.

The Guadeloupe international signed for League One Bournemouth from Plymouth in September 2011 and earned a new deal six months later in February 2012.

But he struggled to make an impact this season, playing just three times.
