Tranmere have extended the loan deals of Bolton striker Michael O'Halloran and West Bromwich Albion defender Donervon Daniels for a further month.

O'Halloran, 22, has started nine times for the League One leaders, while Daniels, 19, has played five games.

"Michael has done well since he has been here so I'm pleased to be able to keep him for another month," manager Ronnie Moore told the

"With Ben Gibson back at Middlesbrough, I was keen to keep hold of Donervon."

The Rovers boss continued: "He's been on the pitch for four-and-a-half games, and in that time we've picked up nine points and kept two clean sheets."

Top scorer Jake Cassidy returned to Wolves last week after his loan spell from the Championship club expired, while Moore is still without a number of players because of injury.

Meanwhile, Moore blamed "sloppy" defending for Tranmere's exit from the FA Cup at Derby on Saturday.

Rovers lost 5-0 at Pride Park and Moore told "I thought we were the better team in the first half, but we gave away too many sloppy goals.

"If you defend like that, even if you're playing the Dog and Duck, you're going to get beat.

"To end up losing 5-0 - I didn't see that coming at half time. It was never a 5-0. You'd have to have been there to believe it.

"I'm sure the fans wanted a better day out than what they got. We're out of the FA Cup, but we were never going to win it."
