League Two side AFC Wimbledon have sacked manager Terry Brown and assistant manager Stuart Cash.
Brown joined the Dons in 2007 and led the club into the Football League in 2011 following three promotions in the space of four seasons.
The Dons have not won since the opening day of the season and have lost their last three league games.
Simon Bassey has been appointed as caretaker manager while the Dons search for a new manager.
Brown, who was the seventh longest-serving manager in England, says he will back on his time at Kingsmeadow with fond memories after guiding the side from the Isthmian League to League Two.
"I will remember five absolutely fantastic years at the club," he said in
"I cannot say I have enjoyed this season as it has not gone well, but my abiding memory will be our three promotions.
"I will never forget having the honour of being the manager who took AFC Wimbledon back into the Football League.
"It is not a time for being despondent about leaving the club, it is time to remember the fantastic times that we have had here."
The decision to dismiss Brown and Cash was taken at a meeting of the club's board of directors on Wednesday morning.
AFC Wimbledon chief executive Erik Samuelson added: "This is a terribly sad moment for all of us.
"Terry has been a wonderful manager and a fantastic ambassador for the club since we appointed him over five years ago.
"He and Stuart guided us into the Football League and for that we will be forever grateful.
"On behalf of everyone at the club and all the fans, I'd like to thank them for everything they have done for us."
