Gillingham team spirit will be crucial - Adam Barrett

Defender Adam Barrett believes a strong team spirit will be crucial for Gillingham to mount a promotion bid.
The Gills have started the League Two campaign with two wins under new manager Martin Allen.
Barrett told 91热爆 Radio Kent: "We've got a good bunch of lads here who graft for one other. If we keep that spirit we can have a successful season.
"There'll be blips along the way but if you have that fight and determination you give yourselves half a chance."
He added: "We don't want to get carried away but if we keep showing that attitude and desire we won't be far short.
"It's a strong squad and there are hungry players all over the pitch. There seems to be a real togetherness."
The 32-year-old moved to Priestfiled last week and made his debut for the Kent club in the 1-0 win at Wycombe on Tuesday.
"It's a club that's ambitious and looking to go somewhere," Barrett continued.
"I felt at Gillingham, with Martin coming in and seeing the players that they've got here, it's a club that really want to get promotion and be successful.
"It's something I want to be a part of. To be around hungry players keeps you going. I've really enjoyed it so far.
"The longer you play together and get partnerships the better it will become."
