Highly-rated winger Tom Ince has been advised to remain at Blackpool by his father, ex-England captain Paul, manager Ian Holloway has revealed.
Blackpool received an offer from an unnamed club for the 20-year-old, who has committed himself to the Seasiders after discussions with his father.
Holloway told 91热爆 Radio Lancashire: "There was interest in Tom last week.
"No one has heard about it but I'll share it with you. His dad wants him to stay with us."
Former Liverpool trainee Ince started the Championship season in fine style on Saturday, scoring twice in Blackpool's 2-0 win at Millwall.
Another of the side's young stars, Matt Phillips, was left out of the squad after handing in a transfer request.
He was the subject of a 拢5m offer from Premier League newcomers Southampton, and Holloway says the future of his players will be decided by chairman Karl Oyston.
"If one wants a move and the other one doesn't, what business of that is mine?" said Holloway. "They can't make the decisions anyway. My chairman does.
"He's got every right to shut out the world and say he wants the best for Blackpool, which is to try and get promoted again."
