Ryan Jarvis wants Torquay United striker role

Torquay United forward Ryan Jarvis says he wants to become the club's first-choice striker.
The 26-year-old joined a loan spell at the end of last season.
But the former Norwich City and Walsall forward has yet to get ahead of Rene Howe as the club's main frontman and has mainly played on the wings.
"People know out wide is not my perfect position, I'm a striker not a winger," he told 91热爆 South West Sport.
"But if the gaffer puts me there I'll do the job and I'll do the best I can do, but I'd prefer to be able to play up front."
Jarvis last started a game for the Gulls up front in their 2-1 League Two play-off defeat by Cheltenham Town at the end of last season.
It was the second successive year that Torquay had made the League Two play-offs and failed to get promoted, and Jarvis says those losses have inspired the squad to do better this season.
"It drives you on more, we've had two play-off defeats and everyone's got more determination to go that one step further," he said.
