Manager Jim Bentley and his assistant Ken McKenna have signed 12-month contract extensions at Morecambe.
Bentley, 36, took over as Shrimps boss in May last year after making 329 appearances in a nine-year playing career with the club.
The new deal will keep Bentley and McKenna at the Globe Arena until the end of the 2013-14 season.
"We are really pleased with the job the pair have been doing so far," said vice-chairman Graham Hodgson.
"We hope to see them take the club forward even more in the next couple of seasons."
Bentley won 15 and drew 15 of his 50 games in charge in all competitions last season as Morecambe finished 15th in League Two.
"I had no hesitation in signing a new deal because, as everyone knows, I love this club," said Bentley.
"I have spent 10 years here and am looking forward to spending many more.''
