Peterborough United offer Danny Swanson 'fresh start'

Boss Darren Ferguson believes Peterborough United is the right place for midfielder Danny Swanson to make a "fresh start".
Since signing a two-year deal with the Posh, the 25-year-old has spoken openly about
Ferguson told "I think myself as a manager and Peterborough as a club have done well with these kind of situations.
"Paul Taylor has been in a similar situation and has done really well."
Swanson made just 16 appearances for Dundee United last season after spending a period in The Priory health clinic.
However Ferguson is confident a move to the Championship will bring out the best in the former Berwick man.
"Danny had a problem off the field that left him a bit scarred mentally. He just got caught up in something on a night out, which was nothing to do with him," he said.
"I know he's spoken about how it's affected him so he probably needs a fresh start."
Striker Taylor has flourished at London Road after failing to settle at a number of different clubs, and Ferguson expects Swanson to prove just as successful in the Championship this season.
"He's got undoubted ability and [Scotland manager] Craig Levein told me he's the most talented boy he's ever worked with," he said.
"Danny was keen to get out of Scotland, he's determined to prove a few people wrong and I'm sure he'll do very well for us."
